  The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. - We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly.   everything! The welcome was lovely, the owner was there and chatted for a while while we waited for the couple in front of us to check in. The room was lovely with a great view and the bed was super comfortable. The bathrobes were great and super soft! We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a delightful walk after dinner, had we known how love... ce que les gens disent » ly it was we would have booked more time there. - Saw some reviews that weren't great, but we found everything to be wonderful. The restaurant has new chefs, and the food was terrific. It is a restful and quiet place at this time of the year - late November, and enough snow for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.

  I loved everything about Sooke Harbour House. unique experience. Each room originally decorated. Otters playing in water outside my room.Jakusi, terrace and garden outside room. Wonderful tour of edible flowers and herb garden by the head gardener was superb and a real treat. Staff absolutely superb. Romantic and interesting design - my wife was really impressed by the bath tube in the living room. There is no a TV set in room which is good for us.
