  Bell service was great ! He assisted us to pack our frozen smoked salmon voluntary with extra bagg for protection. We were told by front desk lady that Wi-Fi was out of order temporary . But it was out until our departure time next day. They should offer business centre at least we can send some emergency mails. The location relative to the airport terminals is ideal - no shuttle transfer to/from the airport is an excellent "plus" for me. - close proximity to the airport - it was great. We arrived very early in the morning and it was so nice to just collect our luggage and continue through the airport to the elevator to the Lobby. No travelling or wondering where to go. It was excellent in all aspects.

  We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and quiet during the night. We had been concerned about city noise but was very peaceful! Restaurant for breakfast was wonderful. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

  Upon check in, for an extra $10.00 they upgraded us to "The Victorian Room" which was a king suite with an in room hot tub! The staff was positive and great to deal with. The swimming pool was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Great value. Will stay there again. The staff were very friendly and obviously enjoyed their jobs, which makes it so much nicer to stay someplace. The rooms are upscale and the beds are very comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft.   Country View Motor Inn was a pleasant surprise. We needed a place to stay on our way to Vancouver and this was convenient, comfortable and the staff were great!
