  This hotel is a gem. It has granite counter tops & a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The decor is clean & modernish with a huge flatscreen tv. In the morning there is a Kerig coffee maker or you can get tea from a large selection in the lobby. This Hotel is wonderful! - The room, itself was a nice surprise with a jacuzzi tub, a granite counter in the bathroom and the textured walls. The bed was good. We also enjoyed the patio furniture that has been provided for guest so folks can enjoy the out doors. We didn't use the barbeque, but others did. I certainly recommend this hotel.

This former rundown Travelodge has been taken over by a Chines-Canadian late 2012 and was completly remodelled and renovated since then. Rooms now have a top- notch 3 s - I really liked the friendly and professional staff! When I asked for help with directions to two different locationis the girl was really helpful in pulling up directions from the computer and printing it off and then explaining them to us! Holly was another amazing desk clerk! Very cheerful and helpful! The night manager was fantasric! I would deffinatley recomend and go back to this lovely hotel! It 's too bad that it is called the Hwy Hotel, as that might scare off visitors from booking in.

We left hotel at 530 a.m. Wake up call happened as planned, taxi on time ordered by staff and coffee in room and muffins available to take on road - Location is close to Butchart and easy from Sidney and Ferry if you have a car.   I thought that this was really awesome. I had some troble sleeping at first since I'm not used to sleep in the same room as others, but when I changed for a private one it was so luxurious. Even the honeysmell of the soap. I loved the design and that the kitchen was so fresh.
