  This hotel is a gem. It has granite counter tops & a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The decor is clean & modernish with a huge flatscreen tv. In the morning there is a Kerig coffee maker or you can get tea from a large selection in the lobby. This Hotel is wonderful! - The room, itself was a nice surprise with a jacuzzi tub, a granite counter in the bathroom and the textured walls. The bed was good. We also enjoyed the patio furniture that has been provided for guest so folks can enjoy the out doors. We didn't use the barbeque, but others did. I certainly recommend this hotel.

  Staff were very helpful in finding a secured spot for parking when I arrived late as this was a weekend in Penticton that gets very busy with families. The rooms were very sound proof giving me a great sleep. Rooms were very clean and more than enough towels. - The room had a full kitchen/sitting area, which we were not expecting.   Perfect location right off highway. Good stopping point in trip from Spokane to Edmonton. The hotel clerk , Veronique, was so warm and friendly to us that on the return trip we spent the night again.   I really liked the staff, I was impressed with the professional, responsible, caring staff. The one housekeeper I met was out going, and kind, not sure where she was from England, Ireland or Scotland. I also like the location anything and everything within walking distance. Good heat control. They had a lot of toiletries and nice soap. The bed was very nice, staff were friendly. It's close to a bit of everything. I work on the road and this is one of the best and economical motels I've stayed in. Everything worked in my room. And the front desk was open 24/7. I will stay here again. They also have suites for a reasonable price. A++

This former rundown Travelodge has been taken over by a Chines-Canadian late 2012 and was completly remodelled and renovated since then. Rooms now have a top- notch 3 s - I really liked the friendly and professional staff! Holly was another amazing desk clerk! Very cheerful and helpful! The night manager was fantasric! I would deffinatley recomend and go back to this lovely hotel! It 's too bad that it is called the Hwy Hotel, as that might scare off visitors from booking in.

  The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was great for someone with allergies, because there is no carpet, only nice flooring. Lots of room for a large family, we had kids and grand kids with us! Kitchen area and full size fridge was very helpful. One story units made it nice with little kids. Full size table was great - Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had reserved a suite and got more than expected: three bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room. We were three adults, one 9 year old and one thirteen year old, so it worked well for us. It is an easy 15 min. out of the city of Victoria, with a grocery 2 min. away, so was convenient for us. Good place for a multiple night stay. Highly recommend it.

  People who take care are very nice and they keep that place neat and tidy. Rooms are nice and clean as well , very good staff. Pool was clean and worm water , surround with lots of nice colourful flowers . Location is very good but you need car or bikes to go to the beaches. We visited in the early spring before the pool was open though. We had a suite so enjoyed the kitchen facilities.

  The owners/staff were awesome - I walked in and she already had my paperwork in her hands, though we were not expected for several hours and the hotel was fully booked. The room was clean and comfortable, and there is a very nice little courtyard to relax in while enjoying the free (and good) coffee. The hotel was perfect as it was affordable and close to everything there is even a Wal-Mart right around the corner along with Wendy's across the street and Starbucks right up the street. This place was just all access to everything we needed and only 15 min from North Vancouver.
