  All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. People outside the hotel don't speak English. - Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well.   EXCELLENTE CHAMBRES RENOVEES AU 11 eme étage AVEC VUE MER PROPRE ET TRANQUILLE PETIT DEJEUNER MOYEN - Exelent english speaking service in hotel! Balcony in every room. Location, 50m to Copacabana beach and 150m to Ipanema beach. - Very clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet and very helpful staff.
