  We loved the Pousada do Vale, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic (fish night is a real treat) and although the bed was uncomfortable the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean! Their gardens are beautiful but beware the mozzies! The staff was friendly, professional, flexible, and made sure we had activities we liked. The food was excellent (fresh juice from fruits in the garden) and everyone was kind. The Thursday-night fish dinner was a special touch. The garden and hammock were great.

  The staff were very friendly and helpful. The standard rooms were small but very clean and nicely decorated with fresh flowers every day! The breakfast was nice and the friday 5pm tea and cakes was delicious! The hotel is within walking distance of most resturants/bars which is great.   The good fame of Pousada Pedras Secas is 100% deserved: nice location with sea view, well kept rooms but what we liked most was the very friendly and helpfull staff. Thanks to them we had an amazing time in Fernando de Noronha. - The staff were incredibly thoughtful and helpful, making excellent recommendations.   We traveled from the us to Brazil to attend our son's wedding and then treated them (and us) to their honeymoon - Pousada Mar Aberto was everything we could have wanted - a true value for the cost - a great staff. Fortunately our son speaks Portuguese - there is limited English on the Island and none at this Pousada - but even so, that did not sto... ce que les gens disent » p them from offering excellent service with huge, warm smiles! - The Pousada is located within a short walk to some wonderful restaurants and you can - Ailton, Isabel and team were all very professional and kind. Really helpful people even though we do not speak much Portuguese, this was no problem as Ailton is fluent. The rooms are delightful, spotlessly clean, with good tv, great aircon etc and have all that one could need. Very quaint. The location is ideal for a walk to the centre. They have a nice small pool which is great at night we found to look up at the stars from. Ailton can also arrange a buggy, diving trips etc for you as needed.
