This apartment is amazing inside, very spacious, very well set up, everything you could possibly need. The owners are very flexible and helpful people, it is only 50m off the main street where the lapa arches are. The street sometimes has poor people in it - but they give NO trouble at all.

Nelson, who owns the apartment was extremely friendly and met us in person. He provided is with maps, recommendations of where to eat and go out and tourists guides.
During our stay he emailed us with further recommendations including directions and suggested prices. He also organised a taxi for us to get back to the airport.
Apartment was very clean and well equipped with free fast wifi. Secure entry and a watchmen let you into the building. 10 minute walk from metro station.

All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business
hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow
taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the
meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel
plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. I

Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well. The staff has been very helpful and let us check in much in advance. Thank you!

The location was perfect for our needs. We just stayed one night as a
stop over in Rio (leaving the next day for Bahia) and the Santos Dumont
airport is literally a 10 minute walk from there! The rooms were nice
