There were just no problems with anything, a refreshing change from most hotels these days!

The location was perfect for our needs. We just stayed one night as a
stop over in Rio (leaving the next day for Bahia) and the Santos Dumont
airport is literally a 10 minute walk from there! The rooms were nice
and clean, no complaints. -

hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow

Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well. The staff has been very helpful and let us check in much in advance. Thank you!

The staff were absolutely wonderful in every way. They arranged safe storage of documents in the hotel safe even though it was not a usual service.
The house keeping staff are fastidiously clean.
The porter in particular was a gem. He walked me to a laundry some distance away and arranged laundry as I do not speak Portuguese well.

The staff was excellent and very helpful, there was always at least one English speaking employee at the front desk, access to the Metro (subway) and bus lines was a piece of cake, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We will return to Rio in the fall and plan to stay at the Imperial once again. -

This was the most unique and sexy hotel I've stayed at. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and the staff was extrememly helpful. But the best part about the room was the mirrors above the bed and the huge jetted spa with multi colored lights and once again a huge mirror above it!

There are several things I loved about Scorial Rio Hotel:
1. The rooms were very very comfortable with the most up to date technology, beautiful bathrooms, and most importantly, very clean.
2. The Flamengo area is a great in Rio de Janeiro to stay, where you can stay at a great hotel, but not pay the price as you would in Copacabana or Ipanema. Restaurants in the area are great and its a safe area. There is also lots of shopping that can be done in Flamengo.
