  The apartment offered the privacy and kitchen facilities my wife and I were accustomed from our own home. I was there for a seminar and I found the private parking very convenient for me to go back and forth. My wife enjoyed the city which was a 15 minute walk from the centrum and ideal for shopping or dining in the city. In short, we would most highly - Very spacious and quiet room, extra large and extremely comfortable bed (1,80 x 2,00 m). We loved the vintage / antique decoration and the fact that the room had no TV contributed to the vintage-feel. The huge and gorgeous wooden bathtub in the middle of the bathroom is a life-saver: after a long day walking around the city, there's nothing better than soaking in hot water for more than an hour!   This place is outstanding. It is not a B&B, it is a luxury hotel at an incredible price. We booked a room with the bath. It was jaw dropping amazing. Elke is the perfect host, who has taken great pride in creating this establishment, and it really shows.   Wonderful host, Glenn, who made us great breakfasts and was very engaging. He also has a great sense of style and it shows in the decoration of the suites. We had one with a bathroom and it was perfect. Yes, those stairs, but this is Europe. Tram (a 10 minute walk) will take you into the centre, which is lovely. You have to take public transport to the city center but it is not far and you can park for as little as 3.50 per day in front of the house. The house is decorated really nicely, definitely more special than any standard hotel.
