Bathroom was also large and spotless. Staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is centrally located, 10min walk from railway station, 5 minutes walk from buses going to Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn cable car or locally to Schmittenbahn, 5 min walk to the lake promenade and boats, restaurants and shops nearby. The restaurant has good and affordable food for an evening meal. Internet wireless worked very well.

We usually visit different venues and hotels on each ski holiday but the stay was so enjoyable that we will definitely be returning again.

  The Steinerwirt was very comfortable and in the Austrian aesthetic with elements of modern art. It made a great home base for exploring the area and for walking around Zell am See. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quite professional. The restaurant is top notch too with delicious local cuisine. They gave us a lot of guidance before arrival and during our stay and also gave us some really good recommendations for restaurants and other non-ski activities.
