The Tannerhof restaurant that was recommended was also very good as we went there the next morning for fresh to-go coffee as well as eating dinner there.Very delicious. Great value room.

The playground for kids was great, and it was just a short ride to Neuschwanstein for sightseeing.   We loved this place. Amazing location, in grounds of a ruin and a museum. Half an hour hike up well - maintained path to wonderful ruined fort & spectacular views. Great base for walkers as 3 ruins are nearby. Food was great - generous portions, fab salad, some unusual and tasty options. A couple of staff speak good English. We were in apartment rooms & they were well - furnished with very comfortable beds. - Our host Manfred was extremely accommodating. Off the beaten path but an excellent location with an easy drive to the Ludwig castles in Germany and the breath-taking mountains of Austria. The food at the restaurant was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Some of our group toured the museum and even donned suits of armor and chainmaille. Great stay, highly recommend!!!

  Quiet location and good sized rooms. Well lit and good sized bathroom. Restaurant and bar facilities were enjoyable but menu was restricted to having a 3 course meal with no cheaper option available.

  The Pension Leuprecht is the first Pension I have stayed at. My husband and I were pleasantly welcomed in by all staff, I felt comfortable right from the beginning. Our room was very clean and more than sufficient with a comfortable bed with a big soft down comforter. Comfort comes to mind when I think back of how I felt staying at Pension Leupr... ce que les gens disent » echt and I would most definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend it as well for family and friends! - Mister Leuprecht is a very nice person, that help us with a car problem. The hotel and the location are awesome, in a real "Tirol" style, mountains, fresh air and a surrounding green and rising nature. The little villages of Lechaschau and Reutte are very close to the German border for a trip to the Castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
