A very comfortable biker friendly hotel. Run by a very friendly Dutch couple Karel and Madeleine who make you feel very welcome. The room was huge with beautiful views of the town and the mountains. The room was wonderful, we had a balcony, great view. It was a relief
after the other strange hotels. The owners were absolutely there to make
our stay a pleasant experience. The Dutch couple are not Austrian which
explains their courtesy and understanding of the word
"service". Madelena is a wonderful cook and goes to great
lengths to provide an excellent meal. -
This Hotel has reopened recently with new ownership. The new owners, Carel and Madeleine, take delight in creating a welcoming space to stay. They genuinely enjoy what they do and it shows in everything. The room we stayed in was huge by any standards and the view from the room and hotel was the same view that is in the postcards! We highly enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely place to stay and will highly reccommend it for everyone. Wish we could have stayed longer. There was a great playground and petting zoo for the kids. Games for rainy days and the meals were delicious. The view is amazing and it is nice and quiet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

while visiting Grossglockner area. The solarium/sauna area is large

The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. I was a real pleasure to wake up in the Alps under the chime of the bells of cows.
The staff is very friendly; we had no problems with the language taking into account that we know only English.

Beatifully located in the middle of nowhere, in the heart of austrian Alps - you only have to drive Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, an that can be a challenge during bad weather. Clean, spacious room, excellent service at the restaurant serving really nice food and drinks (including Zirbenschnapps ;-). Just only notice, that staying overnight at a height of 2300m can be somehow inconvenient for heart-impaired persons.
