It's location is perfect with quick access to both lifts in Bad Gastein and in other towns by bus (bus stop is 5 min walking distance). The personnel... ce que les gens disent » is exceptionally good and supportive with attention to all guest's wishes - The staff are helpful. The rooms are good, but it depends which you get. There are a really small rooms but on the other side you can get a big room. In the second floor are more modern rooms. We have tried both of them.

  Great staff - Margaret (the owner) is very friendly and the most helpful of the hotel staff we met during our trip. (She even did laundry for us!) Setting is beautiful, in a quiet (in the summer) town surrounded by mountains.

  We loved the view from our room and balcony! The showers are huge and with heaps of hot water. The hotel restaurant is excellent too. You pay 10 euros for dinner which is: self service soup and salad (delicious soup and wonderful choice of salads), then a choice of two main courses, and finally dessert. We paid 2 euros each for a glass of wine.... ce que les gens disent » Excellent value for money. Breakfast was self service with a wonderful selection to choose from. The hotel public areas are beautiful and there is - The hotel is beautifully perched high on a hill, providing spectacular views. It is well worth the climb to get there. My 2 nieces and I were upgraded to a family room which was larger than my apartment back home! It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and so fresh. Staff were most friendly and accommodating and I look forward to returning there one day, again, in the future.
