We liked being able to walk up the hill to places like Morries Anytime. The restaurant next door for breakfast was good too - they were really cheerful and friendly. Staff there when we met them were friendly and helpful. The room was obviously built to a price level and given that was excellent. It was nice having a powerboard next to the bed for phone and iPad charger and the WIFI connection was a delight to have especially for free. Free DVDs for hire were a nice touch too.
tous commentaires » The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived and gave us all the information we required, plus breakfast was included which I was not expecting, room was spaciouse and clean with tea and coffee available with milk in the fridge, air conc was available but not required on this accassion, close to all town amenities and restaurants, and a great hub for traveling about the margarate River area. Breakfast at La scapetta was a joy and the staff there were happy and friendly. Conveniently located in the heart of Margaret river. Walking distance to taverns and food. Quietly tuck with ample of parking as well. Most of all staff are superb. Will recommend to any traveller with family of four on the twin room apartments. I enjoyed the stay at adamsons. . It was closed to the town . The service was great staff friendly . And clean rooms . The breakfast at the restaurant over the rd was excellent . The dinner was even better . Thank you we will be back . The location is excellent and is very near to restaurants, bakeries, supermart, etc. The room was large and the bed was comfy. Amenities well provided - water boiler, toaster, crockery (no forks!), extra blankets and pillows. All the staff we met were most welcoming and friendly and also informative on where to find anything we needed. The location to the cbd was excellent as was the breakfast restaurant. Thank you for all you did for us. The location was very central, walking distance from the town. We had breakfast both mornings and the food was excellent. The Spa bath was smaller than we thought based on the pictures - there was no way we could get two of us in there. The power for the microwave / kettle etc. was a bit high up the wall for my short wife so we used our own powerboard to make it reachable. We have a couple of bruises on our shins from the unusual horizontal wooden skirt around the bed but it looked nice. Housekeeping could be improved. They also do not wash used crockery and cutlery when they come in for their daily clean-up. Had to ask for more bath soap as it was not refilled. Nothing. Maybe a heater in the bathroom in winter would be great :). Could get the DVD player to work but awesome that they have free DVDs to borrow. Noisy, adjacent to main road. Shower outdated and shower and basin taps all loose. Hot breakfast, but very limited - little choice. As a B & B, no lounge area - more like a motel set-up. This is behind the control of the property bit the traffic noise was intrusive. There were also considerable roadworks taking place in Margaret River with the main impact being on Adamson's during our stay. Footpaths were being constructed as well as kerbing and channelling. Requested a twin room but had a double with foldout bed. Apartment just about ready for a lick of paint especially the bathroom and toilet. No wardrobes. Bathroom window handle was broken off and window wouldn't close. we stayed in of the 2 the rear units and my wife was quite dissapointed in the small out door setting and table. She would not sit in the seats as she thought they were a a little dirty. Future stays will be in the front units facing the main road. cold bathroom tiles. Booking mix up, but due to actions of receptionist we left happy. nothing. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms. We didnt like the bed, too hard and didnt like the curve up by our heads. Sheets on bed - grubby. Bed short-sheeted on arrival. No security lock on fly wire door to balcony. Nowhere to wash dishes except vanity unit. No detergent provided. Bedside clock/ipod dock did not work properly - no instructions, very difficult to use. DVD no instructions - no help from reception. Breakfast across the road is only available from 8.00 am The carpet was dirty with clumps of other people's hair on it. Needs a good shampoo. The sink was crazed & yellow needing replacement, The blinds were broken in parts. The fridge's freezer compartment had not door & did not work.
