  We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction.   Accommodation was more than adequate. We were sharing with daughter and son-in-law and we were pleased with the space and equipment (except kitchen equipment - see below). Having breakfast delivered daily at or about the time specified was a real bonus.   The location is about a 10 min walk from both downtown and a wonderful bird reserve near the lake shore. The staff was very helpful. Rooms are not fancy but quite adequate. - Very clean

The staff there were wonderful and extremely helpful, even packing our breakfast to go each morning because we were going on early tours. Highly recommend this hotel.

  la gentillesse et l'intérêt portés aux clients ( grande aide ) - The owners and staff were very friendly and helpfull calling for buses, taxis etc. Breakfast was served as a buffet style and was very nice. Beds are comfortable. - Nice lady running the place.Quiet, warm and easy.
