  We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction.   All staff including the restaurant one went way beyond their duty, so nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, best view of the lagos in town and only few minutes walk or cab from town if you need to go there. Rooms are super clean but a bit basic, we didn't mind as we spent so little time in there and the rest wa - The view from the windows is amazing. Full panoramic look of the lake. The staff is amazing and honest and speak English. They gave us some good recommendations about places in the town. The room had nothing special. Regular, one bed + tv + window (huge though) room + bathroom ... The price (probably due to off season) was very attractive.

  Very helpful staff and a warm and cozy place to stay! They had a large common area to meet & eat breakfast (which was included in the room rate).
