  We were staying in Telluride for the bluegrass festival. A bluegrass band was playing in the hotel foyer every morning and early evening which set the atmosphere well. The hotel was about 20 minutes' walk from the festival grounds in a quiet location, but close to all the shops/bars. Rooms were good if a little small, and you have to pay top price during festival time. - We brought a little dog and we where impressed with the dog friendly staff and that we where able to bringJuniper into the lobby and enjoy a glass of wine there as well as having a little snack......that was super !

  It was our 35th anniversary and we found this boutique hotel on letsbookhotel.com. SUPERB!! and the staff had a cold bottle of wine in our room on arrival! WE did tell them it was our anniversary but it was a terrific surprise.   I loved the history and location! I had what they call an 'interior' room and it was wonderful! The view out the windows was mostly the brick wall next door, but on the 3rd floor, also a little of the mountains! Quiet, historic, accommodating! - Telluride was a last minute add to our trip.
