The staff was quite helpful, and the manager seemed to have the solution to any issue that came up at her fingertips. It was a quite pleasant trip thanks to her, and the whole staff was focused on making sure we were satisfied the whole time. Oh, and EVERY local restaurant they recommended was awesome!. The kids loved the hot cocoa machine, and we loved the coffee. The continental breakfast suited everyone's tastes. We liked the price. The beds were comfortable. The red haired desk clerk was very helpful. And, we love the location.

We were here for a volleyball tournament over the memorial holiday weekend that was taking place at Penn State University. The location of the hotel was just 2 miles away. Very convienant location. The room was nice and the location was convenient. The staff at the service desk were very nice and helpful. Check in was easy reservation was held, the last time we stayed our reservation was lost. The price. Location. I could smell someone smoking in their room. I don't have any complaints. We will be staying there again, probably in November, and again in December. Nothing, really. The carpet in the hallway was old and stained, but was clean. Breakfast niche needs some more stuff. the bathroom is wet, everytime i open the door, i can smell the musty odor. No complaints for the price. swimming pool can be provided... Unpleasant lady working at breakfast bar (refilling items). tv did not match channels w guide & staff unable to help. Staff wasn't very welcoming, girl at check in seemed like she didn't want to be there.not friendly at all. Overnight lady the same. Carpet had terrible staining. limited cable television. need more free channels. Wallpaper coming off walls. Bugs in room. no refrigerator. Room needed updating. Lamp shardes torn, bedding looked dated, wallpaper peeling, carpet in hallway had huge waves/rolls. Priced high for a super 8. My room was near a staff room and they were talking and loud outside my room at 6:00 a.m..I felt they were inconsiderate of the guests. Breakfast ends a little too early and heat was hard to contol in room. The hotel slapped a 10% surcharge without our approval or knowledge, didn't provide a bill under the door on check out day, too busy to give us one when we turned the key cards in, I noticed the charge on my credit card bill. Very unethical. Hallway smelled like urine. Air conditioner did not cool. Why can't they provide a remote with a sleep timer??. dirty elevators, esp carpet, plus hall carpet, just felt dirty, tho sheets and bathroom were clean. Shower did not work in room 104. The repair state or disrepair state of the rooms. The beds were not comfortable. The closet had no doors. Old ,dated ,cigarette burns on floor, drain in shower not attached, no iron . Didn't feel clean . Charged over $500 for two nights is highway robbery.. Find it very sad for extreme mark up for parents weekend....disappointing to say the least.. "Free" breakfast wasn't available. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke & the room smelled of mold & cigarette smoke to the point of having to keep the window wide open. Room had broken window screens. Broken exhaust fan. Broken closet doors. Elevator did not work. Staff was not very nice. Room was very worn. Air did not work. Room not very clean. Found two bugs. Could smell smoke even though we were in non smoking room. The room was supposed to be Non Smoking, but it smelled like an ashtray. The lobby also smelled like stale cigarettes. I thought my credit card was processed before getting there, and it wasn't until I checked out that I was told that my credit card was denied, extremely upset about it. A lot of money for poor quality of the room. Hotel was very run down since my last visit. Stayed on third floor. Carpet was a mess, wallpaper was torn and the hallways smelled like body odor. Smoke free rooms are smokey, clogged toilet, clogged tub, bugs in room, deserve a refund.
