The room was very nice and clean. We were upgraded to a suite which had it's own good sized balcony right above where the pool was with a couple lounge chairs and a table and chairs. The y had cheese and wine in the early evening then desert later with milk and in the morning a continental breakfast with a lot of items to choose from. Very nice landscaping and landscapers. I liked the location -- a few blocks off the freeway 101 and very easy to find -- a just a short walk from the harbor and beach where there is so much to see and do. The staff was helpful and friendly and the continental breakfast was one of the best for a small boutique hotel.

Also there was wine and cheese in the afternoon and cookies and milk at night, just an overall nice and welcome feeling. Cheese & wine in the afternoons was a great idea. Helpful, friendly staff on Reception. We had asked for a room in the quietest part of the hotel & that is exactly. What we had. Pleased with everything. The extras were very enjoyable. The wine and cheese socials and breakfast included were very nice. The grounds were beautiful and lush. Bike rentals and movie rentals were a plus. I loved the bed it was cozy, the staff was so nice and helpful, we rode the beach crusiers they had and the food was yummy! We even rented a movie too. I want to go back soon. I stayed two nights and loved this Inn very central to places of interest Harbour and shopping The staff were the most helpful and friendliest of our whole trip to the USA. staff...beds..bathrooms...clean...comfortable,,,cozy..pool jacuzzi...snacks all day..patio garden is so beautiful and cozy....comfort..fiendliness...homy feeling.. Very nice hotel, would stay again, outside heated pool was excellent. The evening wine and cheese get together was great, a lot more hotels should do this. The ability to get free bikes and movies. The breakfast, wine, and cookies were all fresh and made it very enjoyable. Good sized rooms, friendly staff, breakfast selection and facilities all made this a very pleasant stay. There really was nothing I didn't like about our stay except we wished we had another night. The exericise room was very small. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Everything was great but if you enjoy taking a bath then you might have a problem. Not much to dis-like, if i had one issue, would like to have a small drinks bar for return from evening's out.....but thats just me!. The rooms were a little small. Having an outside door was a little off-putting at first, but seemed to be the norm there. Nothing. Breakfast area very small with limited seating, bed very soft. The decor was not so great but the feather pillows were great! For $250 per night I could have gotten a place on the waterfron that was more charming (no Offense). A bit over priced. Pricey. Could be cleaner. Way over priced. Not "by the harbour" but a good 10 minutes walk away. Much of the hotel is rather tired and dated and in need of remodernising. Also next to a residential block which was noisy at times. I expected a lot more for what I paid-especially with breakfast. The rooms were advertised as having refrigerators so we almost packed our food, but I'm glad we didn't-it was tiny. Also, it was a bit further from the Harbor than the name would suggest. Very old hotel. Needs remodeling. Felt a little unsafe, due to the clientel across the way. Over priced. I am currently staying at the 5 star Ritz Carlton Miami for 40$ less a night! I am using the gym daily - the gym there does not exist. Its 3 m2 in size. Over priced. The room was very small and very old. Dated bathroom and very little space to put your luggage. Facilities were not as expected. Bed mattress had collapsed. Kitchen was poor and very outdated - not even a kettle available.
