The location on the water, the peace and quiet. I rented a bicycle and leisurely explored the quaint town of St. Michaels. We also enjoyed the proximity of excellent restaurants, although they seemed pricey. We will definitely return to St. Michaels, and would not hesitate to stay at the same location. the room was great...clean, roomy and we had a nice view.access to the outside is terrific and the water is just outside your door, wonderful sunsets.The waitress in the bayview was very attentive. the front desk personel helpful.
kaikki arvostelut » We were impressed. Arrival was pleasant greeted by Dave very cordial. Loved being on the Chesapeake. Quite, spacious rooms. Breakfast overlooking the Chesapeake was very enjoyable since we wee celebrating a special anniversary. The view was amazing from our room. Service at the hotel was great. The guy at the bar (sat night) is amazing, he is super friendly and really made our to go food a 5 star experience. He is a great asset to your hotel!. Loved the peaceful location and the quiet water front. This resort allowed us the relaxation we needed. Also like to golf. Can't wait to return. Been there many times before---Grounds nicely kept---less expensive rooms are motel like but in good shape Great for golf/swimming/biking. very accommodating staff, rooms were very nice and super clean. Seemed like all new linens, shower curtain, etc. Love the privacy, seclusion and ambiance! The room s are wonderful with the vaulted ceilings and porch!. I enjoyed the location, the ability to walk around the gardens, the tranquility of the area. The rooms were big and clean. Plenty of room, enjoyed the patio.Bath room was very nice. Setting and environment are awesome. Water views and grounds tranquility. Beautiful grounds where all rooms have a water view. Extremely relaxing. Location was wonderful. Bed linens & pliiows could have been better. Restaurant served instant mashed potatoes which was disappointing considering the caliber and price of the meal. Really nothing that I didn't like!. Wireless internet was a disaster. It never worked for more than a couple of minutes and then it was slow. I tried to put in a bit of work, but, had to give up. Coffee pot did not work, had to ask several times before they got us a different one. Breakfast should have been included with the room. Lack of convenient and available dining, food, vending etc. Room was "tired", quite inconsistent with setting. No refrigerator in room. Bathrooms could use an update. We had a dinner at the restraunt. The food choice we made was a simple fish and chips. The fish was overdone and did not have a good flavor. Paper thin walls. Would have been nice to have the bar open for a drink before we left for dinner. I suppose it would be nice if the balconies were individual but for the price this certainly isnt a complaint. The food was mediocre No refrigerator or microwave. We had to fight for the lawn chairs. Old! Even though all was clean the rooms said early "Holiday Inn Motel". Patio door very hard to open and close. Facilities spread out. Breakfast was only a buffet so had to go into town each morning. Cost should also have been included in the room. The beds are horrible. Really need to be re-placed. The breakfast buffet was not worth the money. There was something splashed all over the bathroom door when we checked in (coffee?) and still was not cleaned on our second day. The tp and tissues were very cheap and rough. The sugars for coffee were not replaced the second day. Hotel Bar didn't open till 5:30 PM. Resturant not up to resort standards, closed for private affair with no real options except to go into town. E very thing was fine. rooms a bit basic, too easy to hear the neighbours. The toilet was not working properly. Second floor balconey = lounge chairs not comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms need updating. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was no night life. restaurant. Quailty of rooms for value. when we first checked in staff was excellent,, but no explanation about breakfast lunch or dinner, if there was a happy hour, what time the bar opened closed. Golf pro tried to charge green fees when we had to leave earlier than expected even tho cancellation policy was not clear. I had a two night stay. My room was not cleaned, therefore we had wet towels and no where to dispose them. When contacted, it was after 3p and was told there was no one to clean the room. Very disappointing. They did deduct $40 off my bill. The slowness of service during our lunch. We waited for almost 45 minutes for our order to be served. The restaurant was closed, there was no wi-fi, and work out facility was closed. The beds were clearly dated and extremely uncomfortable. The maid service never came at all and we were there Friday to Sunday. The climate control abilities in the room were terrible and it remained hot and stuffy entire time. There was no water pressure in the shower. Housekeeping . They really need to do a better job at cleaning the rooms. There was hair everywhere ( it was not ours). And they need a table outside in rooms by the chairs. There's no place to put your cell or a drink. My room wasn't ready when we arrived. We had to wait until 4:00 PM to obtain the key to our room, after a lot of aggravation. They weren't concerned that they were behind. Some of the amenities (soap, shampoo & hand cream) need to be upgraded. The electric sockets need to be replaced because electric devices will not stay plugged in. This is a fire hazard & would not pass an electrical inspection in NJ where I live. Slowest round of golf we've ever played; pros kept saying it was just a busy weekend but we expected much more considering we had a tee time and paid good money to play there. We ended up skipping two holes all together to try to get ahead of insanely slow foursomes. The course felt completely unmanaged - it was very frustrating. The room felt shabby and outdated and we had multiple flies in our room. It was very uncomfortable and we were very dissapointed with our stay. Beds, Price, No Dark-roast coffee.
