  Everything here was great. Hotel had good food, and was close to everything i needed, shops, places to eat, only a 10 min drive from Evans City. I can't wait to go back. - Friendly staff, quiet location, and easy to get to are big perks. Extremely clean.

  I can't say enough about this place. I am always a bit leary when booking at a motel, but I need not have worried at the Nittany Budget Motel. To begin with, unlike a lot of other motels, this was not situated in "the middle of nowhere" off a depressing highway. It was actually located in what looked like a business complex with quite a bit of act... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ivity. When I first arrived, I was greeted by a very friendly and accomodating young man at the desk. (Incidentally, the office is located within a "b - Motel old but ok. We were out to hike in Rothrock S.P. and the location was excellent. A good surprise was Harner's Farm shop right across the road, that was a great place for buying apples & co. and our son loved the corn maze and the halloween spooks.

The location is fantastic--geographically central to attractions and restaurants--and yet quiet and restful--it's surrounded by farms.   Many of the hotels in this area want to charge you more for your room if you want the option to cancel if needed. The Continental Inn did not..so we went with them. We were looking for something not too expensive that had a continental breakfast. We were quite surprised to find out that our continental breakfast was actually a hot buffet!! We sle - There were a lot of things for us to do at the hotel - 2 swimmimg pools, a hot tub, a playground, tennis courts and a basketball court. It was also extremely close to many things we wanted to see - Dutch Wonderland, Cherry Crest Farm, Strasburg Railroad, etc. There was also a resturarant that served an excellent hot breakfast buffet over the weekends. The room had a small refridgerator as well as a coffee maker.
