Las Palomas was by far one of the best hotel/inn experiences I've ever had. We arrived at the tail end of a long road trip throug the Southwest, and were greeted with warm cookies and cappuccinos in a gorgeous, cozy, relaxed lobby. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Place was clean, beds comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful.
unknowingly we tried to book other hotels closer to the Plaza, not realizing it was Indian Market, an annual afffair that draws people both nationally and internationally, and it was opera season (the reason we stayed in Sant Fe).
I was surprised we actually got a hotel that was clean, friendly and fairly easy to manage getting to and from.and surprisingly quiet.

We were travelling with 2 dogs which is of course a hassle but the room was awesome (spacious and tastefully furnished), and the location perfect, easy to walk into the plaza area downtown. Best of all for we dog owner's, there's a sweet little neighborhood park behind the hotel, and our room was very close to it which was of maximum convenience.
