  The helpfullness and friendliness. Everyone was very professional and the place was very clean. - The room was fantastic and location great. Plenty of restaurants and delis close be. Also a great supermarket. Perfect apartment for families. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were really impressed.

  This is a "Classic" hotel that is part of the Waldorf Astoria. Separate entrance, separate doorman, concierge, etc. Feels like "Old New York". Rooms have 15 ft ceilings and wonderful architecture. We travel ALOT and we have never experienced the type of service and follow through that we experienced at the Affinia Dumont. - the hotel was so centrally located, the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the bed was so comfortable and the linen was changed regularly. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel

Also, the level of security is very important in a place like NYC, and the Waldorf takes extra measures to ensure everyone feels a high level of security.
