  reception staffs were friendly and welcoming; we got upgraded to a suite and loved the spacious room as well as the pool facility; hotel is right on the gorgeous beach with a nice golfing course; overall a great stay definitely lives up to the Ritz-Carlton standard - Loved the staff, the room, the facilities and the view.   We exited the taxi and were welcomed to the Four Seasons with a lei, which we expected. A porter took us to the check-in desk at 11:00 A.M. where only one girl was working. The check-in girl snapped at the porter stating she was already serving someone. We were able to charge our ipod, ipad, iphone 4, iphone 5 all at the same time. I cut my finger on the razor in - The staff were very welcoming from when we first arrived. Throughout our stay we were recognized and equipt for with no trouble. All staff were brilliant at remembering our names which was very impressive. Everyone had their role to maximize the fine detail around the hotel, the design was beautiful and the lay out was very nice. Rooms were spacious and homely. I would definatly recommend this hotel.

  Everything! The rooms, grounds, facilities and staff were all absolutely delightful. The hotel is smaller and more secluded than many of the resorts in Wailea but offers a free shuttle to town and great beach activities.   The location is great, having the Whalers village right next door was so convenient with lots of places to eat out. The beach was lovely, very clean and long enough to walk daily to keep the holiday kilo's down. We loved our unit, it was spacious and comfortable, it overlooked the village and had a great sea view. We would definitely recommend the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. - Everything about this place is excellent except the pool which is far too small for the amount of guests there are. However as its right on the beach, the ocean and local sea turtles make up for it. The beach is spacious and not crowded. Room is modern, with everything you need. We loved out stay here.

  Excellent location and the suites were very nice. A spectacular breakfast spread every morning which was delicious. Neither of the main restaurants impressed me much and we actually ate at the Four Seasons (Duo and Ferraro's) twice each. Also ate local food elsewhere. Grand Wailea has crappy rooms but lots to do, Four Seasons is great but pricey and a bit stuffy so this is - Absolutely amazing. Everyone treated us like we were the only guests. The check in, bellboy introduction and resort services all made the fairmont an experience to remember. I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything around the grounds were immaculate. The rooms are huge,clean and very well appointed. It definitely felt like paradise. Restaurants were great. Service at Ko was exceptional. There were so many loungers and plenty of grounds and pool space that you never felt crowded anywhere.

  The place itself was absolutely amazing. It was very high end and well done from the fixtures to the landscaping. The yoga was a great touch and I loved the fact it didn't feel "Marriott" or "Hilton" at all. It's next to Pa'ia which was a great little hippie town with very affordable food. - Loved the relaxing vibe and the evening meal
