The staff were great and upgraded our room gratis when we arrived ro an 8th floor room with a spectacular view of the monument. The room was beautiful and large and had character, plus it was quiet. It sits in a wonderful neighborhood close to great restaurants and right on Mount Vernon park. You get a real flavor of Baltimore at its best here (I grew up here).

Its very upscale, romantic, and comfortable. there where a few weddings going on in the courtyard at the fountain and it was just a nice friendly place to stay. Great location. Park the car and forgot it for a week. With the Metro station right under the hotel, getting around was perfect - never had to worry about parking.
