  I liked the 3 restaurant options (bar in the lobby, the grille, and the steak house). I'm always in a rush in the morning when I travel for business so I really appreciated the quick continental style breakfast available at the lobby bar. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little dated, especially in the bathrooms, but is very clean, and very well taken care of. The room rates are very reasonable.

  I loved the location and the room was very quiet and clean. We had a corner room which I thought would get noisy but rarely did we hear anything. The room was awesome! We had 2 queen beds and a pull out couch as we had 10-year old and a 18-year old kids with us. The bathroom was around a corner so it gave us all a sense of privacy.   Staff very nice and helpful! Rooms was clean, and I had a great view of the water which made it worth the money. And if your not up for going out they have a very nice lounge area overall the stay was good.. - Everything was great.   The room was clean and comfortable. The exercise room was MUCH better than I expected. Most Hotels only have a small room with a couple of pieces of equipment. You have 3 exercise bikes, 4 treadmills, 3 or 4 elliptical trainers, Several large screen TVs to watch. A nice set of nautilus equipment and an assortment of free weight dumb bells. The indoor pool was nice my son used it and the sauna and liked both. - We stayed the weekend of the Preakness and many college graduations in the area. We were there for a college graduation at 1st Mariner Center, across the street, so it could not have been more convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the overall condition of the hotel very good. Parking was also convenient, safe and fairly priced.

  Everything. Great price, great location. Room was very nice. Bathroom and kitchenette were doable but they could of used some updating in our room. Had a great stay and hope to go back soon. - I enjoyed the ameneties in the room. Full size fridge, stove, microwave. The restaurant was very reasonable. The room was beautiful and large and had character, plus it was quiet. It sits in a wonderful neighborhood close to great restaurants and right on Mount Vernon park. You get a real flavor of Baltimore at its best here (I grew up here).

  We were visiting Baltimore for our fifth wedding anniversary. When I mentioned it to the lady checking us in she put us in a room with a full harbor view and later they brought a small choc cake to our room. The staff was very nice especially the doorman he made us feel right at home. I can not sleep without a white noise and they searched high and low to find me a fan that I think came from an employee's office. The breakfast buffet was delicious and all the service was excellent.

  We found the hotel to be ideally located to walk into town without being in the middle of the crowds. (and there is a free shuttle stop nearby to take you downtown as well.)There were numerous great restaurant options close by. We especially enjoyed Miss Shirley's. The hotel staff was excellent.
