My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.

Ilima is a gem! The decor is absolutely vintage Hawaiian.... wood, tile, wicker, tropical prints, original local artwork, and pink all over. Centrally located on Oahu's north shore, we couldn't be happier with our stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff, the villa are small houses/bungalows that stand a lone on well kept beautiful piece of property. They even asked I we would like them to pick up groceries for us to have when we got there for just the cost of the food ! We will be back

the location was central to everything we did. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.

Simple, clean. Unit needs updating but it is sufficient. Nice to have

wash clothes. A half block away is the running path along the canal
which was excellent. The building is very secure and you have free
parking which is key in Waikiki as this can be very expensive. There are
plenty of markets and coffee shops around and the beach is 3 blocks
