  I loved everything! I came to celebrate my 50th birthday on my own in NYC. The Distrikt was the perfect choice for my 11 night stay - awesome staff, awesome room and awesome view too. In fact the hotel looks just like the phot - The location of this hotel was excellent, it was approx 10-15 mins max walk from the main centre of Times Square. I had looked at other hotels nearer to Times Square prior to going that were more expensive, but found so many hidden gems with food and bars on the walk to Times Square that both my wife and I would certainly use this Hotel again in the future.   Location was outstanding. Central positioning in Midtown, v close to Empire State & Times Square. Every request from the hotel was met - extra bedding delivered immediately. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfasts v good. Some people have complained about the fact that only 2 elevators served (I think) up to 12 floors. Would highly recommend for great value and loc - The location is terrific. It is in the middle of manhattan and next to important subway stations. Extremely convenient transportation. The next door is 5th avenue and macy'S. Also it is near korean town and cafes and bars so that both western and eastern style food is easy to get. The room I am in is quite new, with big tv and good city view to Empire building (if you stay above 16th floor). Breakfast is very nice indeed. And the most important, staffs are very nice! Especially Mathew!

When booking, I asked that they put us on the highest floor with the best view for the deal I was offered.
