The free breakfast was fantastic. The value for a single night when there was even a Redskins game was phenomenal, and the entire stay was very enjoyable. I got a room with a view and the fact I could control the air conditioner was excellent. They were renovating so there were a couple of encounters with old style stuff but it didn't hinder my enjoyment. We stayed for 2 nights, just to see Washington DC, the hotel offers and shuttle bus to the metro which takes i stright into the center of DC. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The bed was soooo comfy wish i could have taken it with me and the room was big enough.:) great easy access to city and value for money.
kaikki arvostelut » The staff was friendly,attentive and supportive. I lost my check card, once reported to the staff, the GM got involved, the police arrived, my card was recoverd. Very Grateful. I give them 5 stars for their great team work. The staff was helpful and easy to communicate with. The room was amazing and since I love to crochet the love seat was comfortable. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit to dc. I can't forget about the free parking. We were very happy with the pleasant, professional staff who quickly handled our requests. Everyone we encountered was polite and eager to please.We found the entire facility to be very clean. The modern decor of the lobby and rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms. The updated look of the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I like how big the rooms were, how clean everything was, the bed and pillows was really comfortable and everyone was friendly. I love this hotel and will tell everyone about it. The room was very clean & nice. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was a plus they should add bacon to breakfast. Fitness room was very big a nice. Staff was pleasant. as a solo female traveler, i felt safe. beds were comfortable and room was clean. there were many restaurants and stores nearby and the beltway (495) was easily accessible. Generally a good hotel. It is an actual hotel in terms of size, not an inn or a motel, but unlike other hotels we went to, there was complimentary breakfast. Great location. Right next to the highway and one exit away from the subway station that goes to Washington. Totally worth the price of the rooms. Great value. Full buffet breakfast included. Everything. Value. Area. I've stayed at this hotel about six times in the last few months. Usually good bang for my buck. Its convenient and fairly clean. However this last trip left a littleto be desired. The hotel was clean and stylish. The staff were friendly and helpful. Friendly staff, shuttle to the Metro station was great. the location, spacious room with comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. good food, close to everywhere. Large room and breakfast. Convenience to Six Flags. the room was clean but old, did the best they could with the age and the need of repair, parking and security of vehicles seemed good, well lighted at night. With the car it wasn't that far either to downtown D.C. or the National Archives. Clean bath, breakfast okay. The toilet ran for a little bit after you flushed and the drain in the shower drained the water very slowly to where you can stand in a small puddle of water while you're in there. We told the lady at the front desk and she said she would take care of it. The view was a brick wall but we wernt staying their for the view. Hearing that I had to pay the full balance for cancellation after PG County announced that the water would not be turned off for 4-5 days. So I was forced to stay or lose $497.00. I think the policy should be revised or there should be exceptions to the rule. I left my room at 6am arrive back at 2:40pm and my room was dirty. I ask the cleaning lady if she can clean my room I had to leave for a second time so she could clean my room. After that I left everyday at 6am and return 10pm my room was clean every night I return at 10 pm. Our first room faced east and overlooked the highway which was rather noisy. That early morning sun couldn't keep up with the AC but our request to be in another room for the rest of our stay was pleasantly arranged. The second room was much better. My only complaint was the box spring kept sliding off the bed frame when I sat down to get into bed. The bed wasn't that comfortable. this is just a pet peeve of mine, but i like to have an air vent in the bathroom, this place did not have one. Needing a shuttle to get to and from the metro station. Also, the leaflet that explains about the shuttle is missing information of where to wait in the station itself, and some of the staff members didn't explain in right. Monday & Tuesday breakfast was cold, coffee weak, and selection less than on Wednesday and I presume the rest of the week. Also, they offer a discounted happy hour Wednesday-Saturday but not on Monday & Tuesday. The TV channel offerings were quite limited. N/A. Staff people used to answer common questions with a tremendous grudgingly. The exception is the excellent Sam from El Salvador. The other unpleasant point was in regards the keys, because every single night we asked for fix them...so go up to the room and then back to the reception to fix the key and then back to the room!!! How many times the staff people explain about it and-or say sorry about that...ZERO!!!. I could not order movies even though they were offered on screen, and tv did not have HDMI or Usb features. The hallways were hot. Breakfast didn't have much variety, rooms on small side. I would have liked additional coffee in the room so I could make more than one pot. A fridge would be nice especially after eating out and having left overs. I don't think this should be an extra charge. nothing really. No room service and vending machine was expensive for a bottle of ice tea. The amount of money spent youd think youd get more for your money. The heating installation needs a update,the water in the bathroom is not hot enough. Staff people were crisp. A small towel after shower. The room we stayed in this time was in desperate need of a makeover and only two pillows for a king size bed. My boyfriend called down and asked for more but they never bought them up. Yhe bathroom had stains in the tub and shower curtain. The grout also had stains. Now usually the rooms we've had have been very clean with no issues. I was disappointed by my stay to say the least. I'm sure ill stay again but ill be sure to request a newer room. The pillows were a bit flat. The TV signal was not HD. Had to change my reservation due to a sudden death in my family....delayed my check in by 3 days but the total number of days stayed (6) remained the same. My price jumped up over $150 with taxes over $200 for the same length of stay with 4 of those days already confirmed...not very understanding. Not given the option to pay cash at check in though the reservation was held with a credit card. Card was charged hidden charges without explanation, did not know until days after check out. No receipt on checking in nor checking out, so didn't have an idea how much was charged on my card. No fridge in the room, TV was not user friendly, Assigned to a room that was not cleaned.Duration for the continental breakfast was too short from 7-9am. No air extractor fan, the bathroom was falling apart and a little dirty. Also the bed sheets had holes and rips. The breakfast was OK but I think it needs more heathy food like yogurts and more fruit. noisy guests, lousy drinks at bar. The view from the room window was into a construction area. No HBO. It was also difficult to find the hotel, given the road-work going around in that area. The fat that our room was falling apart. We were under the assumption per internet that there was a pool. Breakfast eggs were not very good; potatoes not kid friendly. The hotel was old, repairs needed in room, drinks at bar very high in price. The two queen beds seemed very small, we weren't sure they were actually queens. There was a closed double-door connection to the next room so you could hear what your neighbors were doing. Plus: Elevator didn't work for several hours on the second evening (we lived on the 6th floor - nice!!!) and on the last morning the fire alarm constantly went off because there was some maintenance. Incredibly anonnying. We were very unhappy with our stay.
