We did not book directly through Best Western so when we arrived, we
discovered our room did not have a balcony but a patio instead. Told the
management of our displeasure and they moved us to the 3rd floor the
next day. We appreciated the accomodation. Once moved, we were very
happy to have a private balcony. Room was very clean and the

Clarion has the best pillows ever and plenty of them. Each bed came with 4 pillows on them, plenty for people who like extra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. We liked it so much were going to go back again next year. -
