  This was my second stay at The Bowery and I still love it. You really feel like you are in NY not the tourist version of NY that you see on TV (if that makes sense). The location of the hotel is perfect for my needs. If shopping is your thing, then you are within walking distance of Soho.   Very comfortable, elegant hotel in the heart of SoHo, brilliant for shopping and eating out. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

We had requested a late check out, as we were in NYC celebrating a milestone birthday. Not only were we granted the late check out, but just minutes after checking into our room, the hotel attache was at our door, delivering scrumption cupcakes with a chocolate "Happy Birthday" plaque. Such a lovely touch, it was very much appreciated and immediately kicked off the weekend in birthday celebration mode.

This hotel is more like a private members club than a hotel, its chic, suave and sophisticated but by no means 'showey' like most high-end expensive hotels. You can pay up for a fancy, big lobby but I think this is actually the best hotel experience.

  This is a wonderful hotel, with impeccable design that translates effortlessly from the big picture to the smallest detail. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, and offer a luxurious retreat from the city. They feel like a Paris apartment from an earlier age, with contemporary facilities and comfort. We could only book at the Nomad for a few days and had to stay the rest of our time at the Soho Grand. We REALLY wanted to go back to the Nomad. If we can afford it, we'll definitely be back!   This hotel is fabulous. We unfortunately only got to stay here one night, but the staff was more than accomodating to us and all of our needs. It's classy, clean, well worth the money, and was a very large room with the one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. - The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and comfortable. The room, although small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.
