  The neighborhood is very interesting with lots of good restaurants serving nice meals at interesting prices (Stella Maris, Il brigante, MarkJoseph steakhouse, Suteishi,...). During our stay we had a quiet room on the 5th floor. The staff was always friendly and willing to help.   Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement.   The hotel was very clean, comfortable and welcoming, wonderful front desk service (prompt, friendly and helpful). The room was a good size for NY, 2 Queen beds very comfortable, mini fridge & freezer with a bit of a loud hum/vibration and the bathroom was nice, clean with tub and great shower. There are 3 rooms per floor (two of which look over Columbus Park- these are recommended for good entertainmen - Absolutely everything was amazing! The room was amazingly clean. As a couple with a 12 month old who requires crawling all day, the room needed to be exceptionally clean and it was just that. Never a piece of trash left behind or stray bugs in sight (considering the place is in china town). The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the pillows where so soft and comfortable. Nice clean bathrooms and very spacious rooms. The staff was always friendly and willing to help us get around to any place

  This hotel is in Chinatown and located only a few doors down from directly under the Manhattan bridge. Sounds terrible but it's not. We were on a budget and this hotel was perfect. The metro is a 5 min walk away taking you to time square within 20mins or less. The room was large, clean and recently refurbished. The beds - I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking.
