  The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Just what you can expect from a new, renovated hotel. The room was somewhat on the small side (1 king bed, room with two queens is larger but also more expensive) but I guess that is common in NY where space is limited and hotel prices are high.   I travelled with my friend. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and also problem solving oriented. We arrived at 5h30 am and were supposed to check in at 3PM.   My boyfriend and I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was, especially with our dog who was staying with us. Nice cornerroom(no#1212) with a great view. 6th Ave in one direction with Central Park at the end, and looking down on Herald Square and Macys in the other direction.   SIMPLY THE BEST!!! We received the apartment on the highest floor - 36 with an astonishing view. We could see all the buildings including the Chrysler building. The people working there - always at their best - congrats guys, amazing service, outstanding and friendly at all times. the location - you are in the center of the world - NEW YORK CITY ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » midtown, everything around you. The apartment spacious, had everything we needed, comfortable and as I said before - with a breathtaking view...A DREA - more like living in NYC than visiting & living in a Hotel.. If you dont mind taking out the trash yourself and making your own bed, this is for you! Ask for an apartment as high up as possible. We got one on the 8th which was fine - but would have preferred 36th :-) A lot of deli's, cafe's and grocery stores in the area for + a dunking' donut next door for a quick cup of joe or breakfast.. Can highly recommend the apartment - location in NYC is everything.. its a 2 min walk from the Empire
