  Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and served at times stated. Room condition was clean and spotless, same as en suite bathroom. Excellent location, very close to everything central. Quite reasonably priced considering it's a chain of Marriott hotels, it's location, free Wifi and complimentary breakfast. Our room smelled like someone smoked, this was handled well by staff, we were given another room next day. Best were Dan and Henry (I hope I'm right about the name).   Location was outstanding. Central positioning in Midtown, v close to Empire State & Times Square. Every request from the hotel was met - extra bedding delivered immediately. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfasts v good. Some people have complained about the fact that only 2 elevators served (I think) up to 12 floors. Would highly recommend for great value and loc - The location is terrific. It is in the middle of manhattan and next to important subway stations. Extremely convenient transportation. The next door is 5th avenue and macy'S. Also it is near korean town and cafes and bars so that both western and eastern style food is easy to get. The room I am in is quite new, with big tv and good city view to Empire building (if you stay above 16th floor). Breakfast is very nice indeed. And the most important, staffs are very nice! Especially Mathew!

  A hotel providing exactly what we were looking for: A large, clean, comfortable and practical room right in the centre of New York at a reasonable price. Travelling with a toddler we really enjoyed the two double beds, which meant that we could in fact have been sleeping four in the room without any difficulty. Convenient computers in lobby. Location was excellent in terms of ease and proximity, as well as not too noisy.

  I like everything about our stay at the Hampton Inn at 35th St. All of the staff from the desk reception, maintenance and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional! My daughter loved the complimentary hot chocolate. She even commented "Mom, I really like this hotel" and she's only 14.   The hotel was in a great location. Also, had a lovely lounge and free access to computers which was quite handy. The entire hotel staff were wonderful especially the housekeeping staff. The room had a small fridge which was great, and the hotel offers luggage storage. The subway is on the same block and 3 blocks to the heart of Time Square.   The hotel staff was so accommodating. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our bags in a secured room while we ventured off. When booking, I asked that they put us on the highest floor with the best view for the deal I was offered.
