  Fantastic, safe location just a few short minutes by foot to Times Square and in the centre of Restaurant Row - in-house restaurant was great too and we had a few meals there - including room service. Did not request an early check in but arrived following overnight flight and were accommodated immediately. The decor and facilities were excellent and despite having a room overlooking 46th St noise was not an issue and it was a nice view to look out upon opening the curtains in Oct sun in NY.   It was about the average price that you'd pay for hotels in Times Square, but it was just outside the border of Times Square so it wasn't really noisy and busy. Having said that, it was about a 30 second walk from the centre of Times Square. Perfect location! Security deposit was only $100, which is relly cheap for ny. Free computer and printing, Internet, WiFi and - We absolutely loved this hidden gem! From the entrance onward! Carlos was very nice at check-in and check-out. The room was very much what we hoped for. I was skeptical to stay at a place that had kitchenettes but this was a pleasant surprise! Clean, plenty of room for us. Location could not be beat!! We look forward to staying again as we travel to nyc a few times a year. Lots close by. Walked everywhere from here and never seemed far!!   I love this little Inn. It is by far the least expensive place to stay in Chelsea/Flatiron. It is not fancy by any means but it is quiet and the location is great. It's half a block off 5th ave shopping, two blocks from Union square and 2 blocks from 8th Ave in Chelsea. The rooms have a refrigerator which was rare to find for the price. The continental breakfast next door has - The location and the courteous staff! Very comfortable and quiet and clean and you can get the sense of actually living there when you stay in this wonderful historic building. I will always book at the Chelsea Inn whenever I travel to NYC. The location is central to Union Square Station, and only one block over from 5th Avenue. From here, it's easy to get to anywhere in this beautiful City!

  This was our second stay at the East Village this summer and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is very convenient, as transit can be accessed by 5-10 minute walk. Also, the rooms themselves have a modern feel and are maintained very well (very clean!). We also loved the fact that it has kitchenette (with fridge).
