  Katherine behind the front desk was amazing. We arrive super early and even though we couldn't get an earlier check in at 8am she called the spa to allow us fix ourselves up and change in their facility. She did her best at getting the room ready and personally called us back at 1230 to let us know when it was. By that time however I was already 30 minutes away by foot thoroughly - What didn't I like?? It was at a great location 5-10 mins walk to Empire State and Times Square. Subway is only a block away. You have a 24 hour organic deli across the road Bread and Butter. Korean food and restaurants open till late. 15-20min walk to Chelsea and soho. Les Halle's french restaurant is just across the road!   I could not have been more impressed with everything at this hotel. The staff was fantastic, from Valet team, (whom called me when I left my phone in the car and brought it to my room), to the front desk, (that allowed me to check in really early), to the cleaning staff, who ran a really tight ship - my room was perfect! We had a rather large yellowish stain on the comforter of one of our beds, and she had housekeeping change it immediately. Also, she gave our family a breakfast voucher for two (which was a $60 value).
