  This place was just lovely. It was truly 'friendly'. The location was perfect. It was like staying in my childhood home, with more privacy. The shower water was hot. There was plenty of heat. It had a real key. The breakfast was good and the furnishings were elegant, eclectic, and friendly. It was very clean, cozy, private and safe. The area is very expensive though. Included continental breakfast and Internet, which many others did not. So good value relative to other nearby inns and hotels, but still more e xpensive than I would expect to pay for the accommodations if it were elsewhere. Very friendly staff.

  The location of the hotel was great - exactly what I wanted. The staff was friendly, the hotel was beautiful, the restaurant was excellent. - very hassle free (although they had blundered in assigning us a room with a smaller bed than we requested; they repaired the blunder, but we had to change rooms after moving our luggage in)

  The most beautiful, clean & comfortable room we've ever been in. This hotel is more like a Bed & Breakfast. The price was right, the staff was excellent & very helpful. Loved the free coffee machine, bottled drinks and hot pastries in the morning. Parking is in the basement of the hotel.   This is a beautifully restored house in a Cambridge neighborhood, about a mile from Harvard Square. The staff are most accommodating and helpful, offering to arrange cab pick-up for early morning departure. Beautifully furnished room with antiques, comfortable bed, pillows and linens, immaculately clean. A full breakfast was also available. An afternoon - This was my fourth stay at the Prentiss Inn. It has a unique quality of coziness, comfort, quiet and beauty. The morning breakfast (included) is served in the sunny small dining room or on the garden patio and it feels like being at home (only waited on). The place is perfect for those wanting just to feel like home. This past trip for me was marred by the sudden death
