We had a great stay with Debbie in her fascinating Historical Homestead in the beautiful Napa Valley. She is seventh generation of the real Napa valley folks at lovely Calistoga. Our room had spectacular views from our own private deck and Debbie was a charming host.

The owners are extremely accommodating, great hosts, sensational cooks and extremely gracious. When we were in the pool during their happy hour, they brought us a plate of food to nibble on and glasses of wine. The breakfast was a stunningly presented as it was delicious. And can't enough about how comfortable the bed was and how perfectly clean and modern it was.

The hotel is well maintained with lush greenery. We go to this hotel for the pools (indoor was under repair but we were notified when we booked the hotel) and the easy walking location. The price is reasonable for this area. The outdoor common areas are very pleasant. Staff was very responsive to wifi issue. The problem was with Comcast but we were kept informed and they were diligent in trying to resolve.

We were expecting a single room but it was really more of a suite (a small sitting area with sink and mini fridge and two separate bedrooms) - perfect for four people! Mount View has lots of character, lovely decor, and location is great. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed Calistoga - cute and not so touristy.

The room is perfectly situated in downtown Calistoga and if you can get the keycode entry to work (had a bit of trouble initially :) is like staying at an apartment. This place is simply fantastic! The quality of the fixtures and the design of the rooms is perfect. I would have like done of the rooms with a balcony but went for a less expensive suite. The concierge (this is more like an apartment block with no reception) was so friendly and allowed us to use the laundry. We later met him in town and he was a great source of local information and great to down a few drinks with.
The location of the hotel is perfect with all of the best bars and restaurants
