public transportation to the heart of the city as well as the immediate
area, 6 bed dorm room and nice bathroom, helpful staff (gave out good
local map to all hostelers), general cleanliness, and
"complimentary breakfast all day", which included tea, coffee,
fruit, bagels and cream cheese as a plus.

Clean linens and fresh room. Plenty of towels. Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. I got caught up on some much-needed sleep. The breakfast was delish - especially the country gravy with sausage! Also, they had a pancake maker that was fun to use. The concierge gave me some good restaurant recommendations and knew the immediate area well.

The room was spacious. The staff graciously moved us to another floor when ours became noisy because of high schoolers that were there for some music competition. The breakfast bar was wonderful. Lots of good food, hot and cold and plenty of seating.We also liked seeing the skyline from out 12th floor window.

I can not recommend this Marriott Residence Inn highly enough. The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business.

Everything! This place was a truly pleasant surprise. I booked the
smaller room, which was just perfect for 1 person. I loved the 2nd floor
club area, with tons of seating, office type space and a fantastic
espresso/cappuccino machine. Oddly, my favorite perk was the bottled
water available on each floor. Staff were incredibly helpful. I also
appreciated the automated check out process from machines in the lobby.
Will def. Stay here again, next time in Chicago.

At check-in the staff was extremely helpful and, when no parking spots were available, they showed where to find free parking and then another ramp to park as well. The events hosted by the hostel were outstanding as well, the pub crawl, evening grill out, and the Hawks parade viewing of course. Overall, this hostel is straightforward and simple, no tricks, in a fun and happening Lincoln Park neighborhood, and I know this is my new go to place to stay when I return to Chicago for future trips.
