  We (young couple - 28 yo) stayed in this hostel during one week to visit ny. We spent a very nice time at this place. The bedroom (economy-cheap) was little but nice, confortable and clean (queen bed, sink, mirror, window). We had a shared bathroom always clean and available (morning and evening) ! The breakfast was very nice (cereals, some fruits... mitä ihmiset sanovat » , bread, bagel, hard egg, jam, butter, honey, tea, coffee, milk, juice ...). The location was perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to metro, between - Frankie at the front desk was wonderful. The location was very close to the 8th avenue subway station which was a nice line to ride and see the city. The breakfast was delicious and the other guests were friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good (a plus for me). The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job cleaning the room daily. Very quiet during our stay both from other rooms and from the outside. There is a grocery store on 8th ave between 22nd and 21st (2 minute walk).

  Our experience was great from our reception by the doorman helping us with our bags, our greeting as we checked in and the comfort of our room. We even got a n/c upgrade. The hotel is situated conveniently to both the theatre district, lower Manhattan, and is right off the FDR at 37th.   The hotel is very close to Gran Central Station. It was very quiet, very clean and has been recently refurbished. Bed was very comfortable. A small hotel but nice and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.   It was our first time with my friend in New York and the hotel was perfect for us as it was 10 minutes walk to time square. We would walk easily from time square to the hotel after 12am. The room was small but we loved that it was perfectly clean. We enjoyed the hot breakfast especially the cheese - The room was confortable, the matress, pillows and sheets were perfect. Well maintained, all furniture, carpets, wallpaper, courtains, bathroom, lamps were in good condition. It wasn't noisy or at least it was not a problem for me (I was on floor 11) The WiFi is high speed and, at least in my room, the coverage was perfect.   This hotel is in Chinatown and located only a few doors down from directly under the Manhattan bridge. Sounds terrible but it's not. We were on a budget and this hotel was perfect. The metro is a 5 min walk away taking you to time square within 20mins or less. The room was large, clean and recently refurbished. The beds - I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking.
