  This is my second stay in less than 6 months. You can't beat the price and the location. There is a parking garage right next door with super overnight rates. The Muni bus stop is right in front of the hotel. You're a couple of blocks from Union Square. This is a budget hotel so don't expect "Five Star Hilton Accomodations". There is a new digital flat screen TV plus a refrig - It was a no frills hotel but comfortable for the most part. The shower was great - roomy, plenty of hot water. Central location adjacent to parking lot, a few blocks from BART. The fridge worked well. Never tried the microwave.

  Everything was excellent! I have stayed in hotels price much higher that were no where near as nice as this one! It wasn't a luxury hotel of course, but as a home base for a city trip I couldn't ask for more. Thanks - The staff was very good, the location was great, the room was very basic but clean. This is a funky old art deco style motor hotel that is maintained to accommodate budget travelers-don't expect valet parking, or luxury amenities, but do enjoy the no frills quick check in, working ice/pop machines, in room coffee, and cable tv. And they have smoking rooms if you are so inclined.

  The location was great because we were within walking distance to the palace of fine arts and some parks, restaurants, and a movie theater. Public transportation was right around the corner as well. - Location was great and staff helped plan my travels very friendly

  The staff was very friendly and flexible when our plans changed. Parking facility was excellent and secure. - The room was super clean, oversized and the tub drained!! :) Parking was limited but free! The free coffee was better than Starbucks! The hotel is only a block from the bus to get to Pier 39.

  It was much quieter than staying downtown, with easy access to the bus and not far from Golden Gate Park by car. Good restaurants within an easy walk. It's not a luxury hotel, but perfectly adequate and well cared for. Parking is limited, but it wasn't hard to find a spot in that neighborhood. - Friendly personnel, location, beds
