  I liked practically everything-it's a vintage restored hotel that's clean, in good repair, and in an excellent location close to the beach, shopping, and dinning; the rooms are big and amply furnished with comfy big beds, a side chair, and a desk.   Our room was quite big with a wonderful bathroom and shower. Also, it faced into the courtyard, which meant that we couldn't hear much of the party noise in front of the hotel. As we were celebrating our anniversary we received complimentary breakfast, which was very good and served until noon. The service on the beach was also excellent. One time we accidentally left a tip of $105 for breakfast (ins - My experience at Hotel Breakwater was perfect and flawless. Perfectly located on the best area of South Beach FL. Cross the road to one of the best beaches in the area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I have not noticed anything but a smile all through my stay! In particular Mr. Curtis and the night duty gentleman from front desk. They made my stay beautiful. Thanks guys I won't forget to thank Mr. Jimmy the General Manager who makes runs the whole friendly show. I will definitely not

A little quieter and more peaceful than the beachfront hotels on Ocean drive - of course this is a trade-off from having a sea view but we considered this a better option.

  The staff in this place was very friendly and helpfull. They just renovated the hotel, and the rooms look great. It was the best hotel during our trip through Florida. The kingsize bed was very good, and all tv-channels were for free. The styling of the room is exceptionally nice. They offer beachfront chairs and it's all included.   This hotel us beautiful .We have stayed at nice hotels before but the service here is exceptional. Jeff and Alex catered to our every need and were very helpful in assisting us on places to go and things to do. They were very warm and friendly. The hotel is very artsy and everything is controlled with an ipad. It was not a s expensive as the other - We had a fantastic stay at the Marlin Hotel and it totally exceeded our expectations. In terms of value for money I'd give it 10/10. It doesn't have a pool but it's walking distance to the beach and to the main restaurant areas and for the quality of the hotel its very reasonably priced for Miami. The staff were so helpful. Alex sat down with us for ages recommending restaurants and places to go to. We were so happy we booked here.
