Location was excellent on beach, across from park, near zoo. it is not real busy or noisy at that end of the down town area making for a good nights sleep. free or very inexpensive city parking spaces available on the street close enough to the hotel.our unit was part time owner/ occupied so it had a at home feel to it.quite a few elderly people have units in this building which was fine for us. i would not recomend a younger crowd that is looking for a bit of excitement [ late nights, music on drinking etc]. kaikki arvostelut »
It was quiet as it was at the end of the road so much so 2 differenttours we booked did not even know where it was.in fact we missed out onour dinner cruise altogether as they passed us by. It's beside the diamond head beach. It has a fountain in front of the hotel. You can see the diamond head moutain from you balcony.a micro wave would have been nice although i understand that they are not allowed in these types of units?the building is getting old and although some painting and maintance has been done a bit more could be done. it would help some what on the appearance. there is an older building next door that could use a lot of maintance and renos to bring it up to the same standard of the diamond head hotel which would help the appearance of the whole neighbourhood. The balcony was unusable garbage ,,a pane of glass which was held up byone of the chairs, some type of cabinet that looked like they had nowhere else to put it so our balcony got it.No restaurants close by onepoorly stocked confectionary store. It's far from Waikiki beach, and it has no tour agent in the hotel. If you'll take part in the one day tour, you'll go to another hotel about 15 min to wait for the tour bus.And the bed is too soft.
