Location was unbeatable to Biltmore estate - close by I-40 or the back roads, clean, quiet, shower was wonderful, with toiletries, the beds were great - down comforters, staff very helpful, near several antique stores, great price, 42 in flat screen, you can not fail to locate the motel when you exit.
A staff that went above what they had to do to respond to my request(s).
Also, I watched the courteous and professional response of a young desk
clerk as she responded to another couple's complaint about

Clean cozy rooms with easy access to our car for loading/unloading luggage. Liked being on the first florr for that reason. Nice breakfast room. Close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville and great restaurants.
It was clean. . . Staff friendly . . . And lose to the freeway. We stopped halfway to our destination. We did enjoy the proximity to the Biltmore though we did not have time to iit.

The building was old but well maintained. Squeaky clean. Fresh paint in and out. Staff friendly. Bathroom larger than expected. Bed/pillows comfy.WiFi.
Rooms were clean- bed was comfortable. Located in the heart of where I
needed to go. Coffee was hot in the lobby at night.
Location was fine, room was fine. Just stayed overnight as travelling through on way to another destination.

Uncomfortable pillows, very uncomfortable couch, the decision of someone
to use the leaf blower in front of the room doors at 10pm to presumably
blow away cigarette butts. Apparently the designated smoking areas are
anyplace outside. Barking dogs in our building, which was not the pet
friendly one.
Bugs.
The desk clerk was abrasive, borderline rude when I checked in. In the morning during breakfast, the morning desk clerk was almost as bad & was heard arguing with a guest who had no hot water. Food was not very good and room was not the cleanest. Vending machines/I've was very inconveniently located. Would not recommend or stay there again.
