It poured with rain for the two days we stayed in Asheville, but this hotel was a true bright spot. The reception staff were fantastic, and little touches like complimentary afternoon hors d'oeuvres and drinks really made for a great stay. The breakfast buffet was very good. The setting is green and leafy in a quiet suburb, but it means it's a little bit out of the town centre. However. it is walkable (if it's not raining!). If you get the chance to take the trolley tour of Asheville, it's.

The wine and hors d'oeuvres provided at the end of the afternoon is especially nice when you come back to the hotel a bit tired and ready to relax for a while before going to dinner. The staff also were all very friendly and helpful with ideas for siteseeing. Loved our stay in this hotel and would return. Hotel was beautiful, room was absolutely lovely!!! Decor was gorgeous, very warm and inviting. Mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and received chocolate dipped strawberries in our room later in the day!!! What a nice surprise! Breakfast included in room rate was unbelievable!!! Would highly recommend and will stay again! Hopefully soon!!! :). Unbelievabley friendly staff. Welcomed like old friends from the beginning. We had to leave!. I can't think of any. The walk into Ashville along main road,maybe 20 mins.We drove into Ashville,parking easy. The bathroom was very small. Nothing to write. I liked everything about it. Bed was ok in regards to comfort but I like a REALLY soft bed. I would compare mattress and linens to a 3 star or above hotel. No sugar free syrup, no skim milk, no ice on each floor.All small inconveniences,but things I missed. Our bed was like sleeping on a sack of potatoes. Beds a little soft but We like European firm. Bed in room 303 was too firm. My wife and I both woke up with aches and pains (and we're age 40 and 50 - not senior citizens). Nothing. nothing. Pillows. Nothing. We thought location was in downtown ashville but it worked out pk. It was creaking at night and hard to figure out the temperature settings. Cost. 15 minutes walk to downtown.
