I like the helpfulness of the lady at the front desk by the name of Catherine she went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us when our battery was dead she didn't make us call a tow truck she made sure we got jumped right there and made it on our way she was fantastic -

Room was outstanding. Large. Very clean. Well appointed. Flat screen TV (but not HD). Free HBO.
Bed was very comfortable with plush (down) pillows and (down) comforter.
Bathroom was excellent with large shower and tub. Had infra-red switch which turned light on when you entered. Good at night. Lots of towels and nice amenities.

The room was very nice and clean, check in and out was quick, staff was pleasant and I loved the pillows. The breakfast was good but I had to try a few things first to get to it. I would stay here again.

One of the maids helped me find the heater control. There was a controller on the wall, but the real controls were on the wall panel. Also the room did not have glasses so she got them for me. Very helpful. I liked the water filter. -

I arrived early on my check-in day around 9:30 AM from the train station in Emeryville. I asked the person at the front desk if I could check in a bit early if a room was available. She said she would notify Housekeeping when one was available and within a hour one was and I was very happy since I had not got much sleep on the train, Thanks -

This place is good if you need a quick place to sleep close San Francisco. Hotels in the City charge up to $50/day to park. Parking at La Quinta was free and I enjoyed the hassle free ride on Bart.
