  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the intercontinental. The staff were amazing and made my stay as comfortable as possible. Luis at the front desk was awesome and helped me arrange my day trips and seeing the sites. I can't compliment him enough for his help!   We got upgraded to a suite as it was our honeymoon. The room was quite simply the best I have stayed in and I've stayed in a few suites. The staff could not do enough for you and we're always there in the background to help.   The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the man in the little convenience shop - he was wonderful. The Hotel is not situated in the heart of Hollywood and is not the best area, but we found it safe and easy to catch public transport into Hollywood Boulevard and Santa Monica Beach. - central location
