  Abingdon is a well hidden secret...I have lived in this state for the past 12 years and had no idea that such a quaint town existed..filled with old world history and festivals and art ...I really fell in love the with the olive oil company located on e.main street..a must for anyone who enjoys food..tell Penny I sent you - Pleasantly surprised. ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Dated exterior and interior but clean as a whistle. I was prepared to find a grungy trucker's stop, but it want at all. This was the cleanest room I ever rented while traveling. I'm a clean freak and this met my standards which are exceptionally high. Mad props to their cleaning staff.

  This is my favorite hotel in Abingdon - the view of Whitetop Mountain outweighs everything! However, the room is huge, the hotel is very clean, and it is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room has a refrigerator and a microwave. Also a TV and wireless. The rooms are fairly well soundproofed. (Quieter than chain hotels I have staye... mitä ihmiset sanovat » d in.) For those who want a "continental breakfast," they have a modest one. (Those concerned about quality food should go out for breakfast or bring - Don't be scared away by the outside plainness. No ambience but if you want a quiet, safe, friendly place, then this is it. Never stayed in a cleaner motel room. Ask for room overlooking the cow pasture & be sure & walk down to the fence & look across to the mountains. Close to I-81 & downtown. Best of all...the nicest staff you'll ever find. Loved Abingdon & loved this motel.
