  Villa Rotana is an excellent hotel well worth the money. The hotel is well appointed and clean with excellent facilities. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices from a hot bar to fresh fruit.   Comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of stations on TV for my daughter to watch. Surprisingly extensive breakfast provided as part of my booking. Perfect location for my needs [we always used taxis but noticed that there was a bus stop outside of the building and a two minute walk to the Metro system].   Excellent Value for Money. Great location, spotlessly clean, fabuloushelpful staff. Not as luxurious as some hotels in Dubai, but anexcellent 4*+ hotel by anyone's stndards. For comparison, it beats the4* hotels offerred by well-known uk hotel Groups.   FREE WIFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Location is very good, close to city center, lots of restaurants around, metro, every taxi driver knows where is this hotel. Burg Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Deira City Center, Golden Market are in 5-10 min driving. There's a nightlub on the first floor and a tasty Cubo restaurant, that serves delicious stuff to your room. Very helpful. . . Big thanks to Alexis, Meenakshi and Yolly. You guys rock ;) It's right next to the metro station and there are plenty of restaurants in the area as well as cash machines. There is no gym or swimming pool but for 20 Dirhams you can use the nearby Novotel facilities all day. A great deal. The rooms were always cleaned and in order when we came back from a day on the town. No complaints - a great stay.
