Window in my room couldn't close completely - about 1 millimeter space left. Space was not big but when you have windy evening and minus14 outside it causes some problems. In general - nothing to complain

Location is great. Lots of thing to do walking or with a short taxi ride.
Expensive taxi hotel service. Ask for a city taxi is less than half of the price and reception can ask for you.
The staff were very attentive from the first minute with excellent English. The free internet access without need for a code was also good. The breakfast was excellent and, value for money, it was far superior to another centrally located hotel I had stayed in earlier.
The fact that I could not negotiate my own terms with the taxi to the airport.

excellent location for Olympic stadium and close to city centre for sightseeing. metro nearby and very cheap. exceptional attentive staff at hotel. helpful and English speaking staff. room service same price as in restaurant. good breakfast. plenty of lifts. able to book and pay for taxi at hotel. concierge service. porters excellent. glad we stayed at this hotel. excellent !!
steps to climb to get back from the Olympic stadium - not hotels fault though !!

Rooms a bit small and air con not great. It wasn't that hot when I was there so the poor air con wasn't really an issue but it might be a problem in the middle of summer
Extremely helpful staff and good location- it is 10 mins walk from the city center. Abundant breakfasts.
The room was small and noisy- apart from the dilapidated fridge in the room, there was also all night humming from air conditioning outside the building, yet it was so loud that I couldn't sleep. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, but the prices were killing, even for Kiev.

Rus hotel had very nice and helpful staff specially anastasious, ANNA..etc. They were very keen to remove any obstical faced to make stay as confortable as possible. Moreover, they had excellent breakfast ,.. more look like five stars breakfast. The view is also very nice in 17th floor . I would stay again there is i went to Kieve.
Rus hotel had some problems in A/C , as i had to change the room becuase is was not working probably. The new room still had somne A/C problems but not same as previous one. Location is nice, but you had to go up a small hill and many stairs (around 80 stairs) every time you think to go out.

double room is very small, acceptable for one night but would be difficult for a long stay.
Safe hotel, staff knows English, you can go to the city center by walk.. cheap when it is compared with the service and the other hotels. Internet is working well at the rooms.
Staff sometimes may not let you to enter to the rooms with some guests.

Nice hotel overall for a business traveller, hepful staff, and good service particularly for a first time visitor to Kiev.
The single beds in my twin room were of a poor standard and quite uncomfortable. I would insist on a double bedroom next visit. The rooms are also quite small. No internet service in my room was very inconvenient and management should improve their system

Our bed sheets were dirty and had to ask the staff to change. Booking taxi at the hotel was very expensive. It was better to go out and take one. It would be good if they give teat and coffee making facility in the room.It is not a cheap hotel they should at least do that.
Everything was fine water bottles replenished every day. good resturant.room was clean and comfortable. tea making facilities in room. would like to stay there again. near metro but there are steps down to it about 100.
Built on a hill so steps down to Metro sports palace.close to a small church down hill across road, very interesting ladies to cover heads with a scalf before going in.Takes about 15 mins to walk to metro.

Everything was fine can not fault hotel
It was my second stay in this hotel. The staff was good as always. No problems with elevators. Breakfast was superb, also there was a pianist who played during the breakfast. Had a nice view from window. Conditioner was working perfectly.
I stayed there with my father, so it was difficult for him to climb to the hotel 3-4 times per day, because it is located on the hill. # 1202 we had problems with closing the window.
It is good hotel, quite close to the city center of Kiev. They have good breakfast and decent rooms. and very comfortable prices. Free WiFi which works well with my iPhone.

All is good, every time I am in kiev I stay there, I feel the Kiev city in Rus hotel. They have a very nice Terrace area outside for food and drinks. Staff never disappoint me, excellent.
We liked where the hotel is placed. Easy to move to important places in the city. Nice view from the room out on the city. Good breafast.
When we arrived, the reception personal drew my card for paying for the room without telling that she did that. We would like to have the opportunity to know that we payed at the arrival and not at departure, and we would like to have the opportunity to pay in cash, if that was what we wanted.
For me it is one of the best hotels in kiev, I always feel comfortable with it in everything.
The taxi desk inside the hotel are a rip off. They charge triple the regular fare, walk outside the hotel and you find many taxi for at least half price.

Clean and modern, but small, standard room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff including concierge. Generally western european standards. Good location for city center and close enough that we could walk (but a long walk) to the Lavra and other sites overlooking the Dnipro. When we arrived early for breakfast, we were informed that we should have requested early departure breakfast (no one told us), but then they let us in and all was well.
The teller at the bank in the hotel was not friendly!
